Two Klein Karoo villages – Barrydale and Ladismith, each produce their own, unique style of Cape Brandy. Both ranges are distilled from local wines and matured in French oak barrels – exactly as they have been for many decades. Local spirit, international acclaim.

Heinrich Carstens
Heinrich Carstens is the head winemaker at Southern Cape Vineyards. He am responsible for crafting exceptional wines that reflect the essence of the vineyards and showcase the best of the region’s terroir.
His favourite wine from the cellar
We are a bulk wine only cellar, so I would say all of our wines. But nothing beats a good Shiraz.
