Rietrivier Wine Cellar
is 34 years old and consists of 46
members. The cellar is situated next to
the Route 62, 20km east of Montagu, in
the shadow of the Langeberg Mountain.
The climate is ideal for the cultivating
of quality grapes & this led to the
recent production of bottled wine.
A lot of attention is
given to red grape cultivars in
particular. The region is known for its
Muscadel and at this cellar some of the
best can be tasted.

The Rietrivier Kitchen has recently
opened at Rietrivier Wine Cellar
along the R62.
The kitchen is open from Tuesday to
Saturday and serve breakfast as well
as boerekos for lunch.
